Wednesday 31st August

Jodie watched the Transient Orcas - the T18s and T143s were in front of CP at Orca Live. We watched them with Katie and Sarah. The orcas were tail slapping and there was an amazing breach that Katie and Sarah captured. Jodie really enjoyed watching with Katie.

Saturday 27th August

Sitting patiently today certainly paid off..................Late at night for us in the UK, the A30s
arrived at OL and we were able to watch them on the cams. The whole family was together with Blackney and Pointer easily recognizable. We saw the 3 youngsters - the newborn, Cedar and Bend, and the 3 females as well - Clio and Blinkhorn and Grandma Tsitka. It was a magnificent view as the cam was able to pick them up close. Jodie was mesmorised. Here are a few of the screen captures we took

Tuesday 23rd August

Jodie and I watched the orcas for the first time since she has been home again. The A36 boys were here. I am not sure who this was that we saw, but it was either Plumper (A37), Cracroft (A32) or Kaikash (A46)

Saturday 13th August

Ok........................so this is not Mousey! and I have no idea who these pics are of!! All I know is that watching the orcas is just what I need whilst I wait for Jodie to come home. And Im hoping that seeing some captures here on her site will be a good thing! If these posts disappear when Jodie is home, then you will know that the Mouse didnt want her Blog to have Fossil (aka Paul)posts on it!! Anyway, these pics were taken at the Rubbing Beach. I watched with Becca.

Thursday 4th August

The A36 boys and the A12s were here. I think the picture of the male on its own may be Plumper A37. The other picture is of the A12s as they were swimming away.

Wednesday 3rd August

The A30s spent alot of time foraging off of CP. They were silent for most of the time but very close to the surface cam.

I got some great pictures of Blackney (A38) including the one below of him just before he dived.

The other picture below was taken as the A30's turned and headed back east.

Wednesday 3rd August

The A12s and the A30s were here. The A30s were close to The Reserve whilst A12 - Scimitar swam close to Cracroft Point again.

We also saw a Humpback again

Another beautiful day at Orca Live

Tuesday 2nd August (Later)

The A12s were seen at Cracroft Point, Scimitar (A12) and Nimpkish (A33) were in view. These captures are of Scimitar

Tuesday 2nd August

The A30s visited Johnstone Strait. I saw Blackney, Pointer and Bend. I also think I saw Clio and the new calf, but it was hard to tell because they were not close to the cam
I feel so happy inside, Ive missed the A30s and I hope Emma is with them, swimming with them

Monday 1st August

A whale did a driveby on Cam B!! People on the Orca Live Board said it was a Humpback. It's a small screen capture because I was watching Cam A and B together.
